For the 20th year in a row, you have voted us the Number 1 Automotive Collision Repair Facility in Kelowna. We are so proud to receive your recognition, for the work we do. Being part of our community and ensuring your car, truck or SUV are repaired to OEM standards, with the little extras included is what we are all about. Your votes for our business speaks volumes and really makes us feel good, giving you our best.
It’s also a win for our Penticton location on Carmi Ave, being their 8th year running, serving the South Okanagan with top quality service. From everyone at BOYD, thank you for your business. We will continue to provide a lifetime guarantee on quality collision repair for as long as you own your car.
Wanting to make sure we “help where we live”, this year for the annual Windshield Repair & Chip program, we dispersed funds raised to our local organizations in Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton & Merritt.
Thank you to everyone for Bringing it to BOYD. The more you let us help you, the more you help us to help our community.
It was a heavy decision, back in March of this year, that the annual BOYD Father’s Day Charity Car Show would not be taking place for 2020. COVID changed everything for everyone. But, with challenge and chaos also comes opportunity and tends to bring out the best in people.
We are so fortunate to have such a strong connection with our community here in Kelowna & the Okanagan Valley, both on a personal / family level and our business partners too. Through the generous support of numerous key sponsors, vendors and attending display car owners, BOYD Autobody & Glass was able to generate a donation to the Kelowna Children’s Advocacy Centre of $11,050.
This was a combination of direct cash and retained sponsorship from organizations like Lordco, PPG, Enterprise Car Rentals, Westjet, Doak Shirreff, MJ Custom T’s, Area 27 and KMS Tools to name a few. Though we at BOYD were humble in our offering, Ginny Becker, Executive Director for the Children’s Advocacy Centre enlightened us, that in today’s current situation, every dollar carries the equivalent of $3 and goes directly to benefiting those needing to utilize the services of the CAC.
Thank you Kelowna. Thank you to the whole Okanagan Valley and beyond, for almost 20 years of ongoing support and love. Though somber and surreal, as we head into Father’s Day weekend without the hustle, organizing, volunteers and attendees heading for Kelowna’s City Park on Sunday. But, remember, opportunity shines through. Look for us to return in 2021, with some great new surprises, bigger & better displays, old favourites, families, friends – all to celebrate together.
Happy Father’s Day from all of us at BOYD Autobody & Glass

Kicking off at the beginning of October, all 5 BOYD Autobody & Glass locations began the annual Headlight Restoration & Car Wash campaign, to help everyone get ready for the dark, winter days ahead. With the added bonus of a $20 Groupon deal, so many people took advantage of this terrific (typically $65 retail) offer to improve their visibility. The real benefit however, is we hit our commitment of $2500 donated directly to Cops for Kids. The Cops for Kids program benefits families throughout the central British Columbia area, from Merrit & the Nicola Valley, through the Okanagan, into the West & East Kootenays who have children affected by sickness and injury, helping to offset the sometimes overwhelming costs. Thank you to everyone who came through each of our BOYD locations to help with this tremendous cause. So many even donated a little extra to ensure the Cops for Kids continue to get the help they need.
In September of 2019, BOYD Kelowna was nominated for 2 business excellence awards through the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce. Large Business of the year and Social Leadership were the two categories. From a fairly detailed submission, we were selected as finalists in both segments, which in itself was an honor. On November 1st, at the Gala to our great surprise and excitement we won the Social Leadership award!
This is a very honored, humbling and gracious recognition. Part of the guiding core among the owners, staff and long list of volunteers here at BOYD is leading the way for business to know, giving back to our community is vitally important. Not just in a monetary donation, but taking the initiative to raise public awareness for some great organizations that are focused on serving and benefiting the Okanagan – Cops for Kids, Child Advocacy Centre, The Kelowna SPCA, The United Way, Kelowna Family Y,Kelowna Burn Fund, Project Literacy – are but a few very worthy and deserving charities we are proud to align with and help.
Thank you to the Kelowna Chamber, the judges who came out to interview & inspect our facilities, all our fellow nominees and all the winners of business excellence from the Kelowna Chamber. Know that when you Bring it to BOYD, you in turn help us – #Boydgivesback.
The 2019 Father’s Day Charity Car Show in Kelowna’s City Park was a success on so many levels. From the great weather, to the record number of cars on display (over 600) to the massive attendance of over 38,000 spectators. We expanded the display areas, added a few new zones, had a larger selection of vendors for the Food Truck Alley. But the biggest win, would have to be the Raffle Car! A 2005 Mustang that was picked up by one lucky Kelowna resident for the cost of a $25 ticket. But that’s not the biggest win. Through the efforts of all our volunteers, the support of our event sponsors, the great registrants displaying their vehicles and the ticket sales for the raffle car, we were able to present the Child Advocacy Centre with a check for $53,529! This is the first time BOYD has made a multi-year commitment to a single cause, with 2020 aligned for the biggest achievement yet.

Annual Boyd Autobody & Glass Father’s Day Charity Car Show nets $25,000 for the Child Advocacy Centre of Kelowna.
Boyd Autobody & Glass is thrilled to announce they were able to raised over $25,000 this past June to support the development of the Child Advocacy Centre (CAC) of Kelowna. The “CAC” will be a child friendly Centre of Excellence that will provide a collaborative response to child abuse in our community. The Centre will improve access, efficiency and effectiveness of care. The Centre will create a safe space for children and their families and help to prevent future child abuse through support and community education.
The cheque for $25, 212.63 was presented to the Kelowna Foundation on Sept 26 and officially marked the projects first large community donation. This donation is part of a three-year commitment that Boyd Autobody has made to support the Child Advocacy Centre project.
The CAC is the primary project of the Kelowna Foundation for Hope & Social Innovation (KF) who is spear-heading the $6 million campaign to bring the project to life in Kelowna. “We are so grateful to have been chosen to work with Boyd’s over these next three years as their charity of choice. The car show has such an amazing following and so much support from our community. The opportunity to be associated with that story is so incredibly valuable,” says “KF” Executive Director, Ginny Becker.
“This is the first time Boyd’s has made a multi- year commitment to a cause,” shared Methal Abougoush, Regional General Manager for Boyd Autobody & Glass Okanagan. “We are so committed to seeing the CAC project come to life, we will do everything in our power to ensure they reach their goal,” continued Methal. “I have kids of my own, as a human being I can’t imagine a better place to give back than in protecting and helping the children of this community.”
